explanation
This is a bangle-type hand-wound watch from the 1940s.
The top and bottom of the dial are decorated with ram motifs.
Ram motifs are sometimes seen in antiques, but it is not uncommon for pre-Roman jewelry to be reproduced, and this is thought to be one such example.
The material used is vermeil, which is also known to be used in Cartier watches, and the bold design is a deep, elegant gold color.
It is a hand-wound watch that requires you to turn the crown. The sound of the small gears ticking is strangely calming to hear.
I got it from an old man in France who loves antiques.
This is an item that we would recommend to both women and men.
*Due to repairs to the fastener on the back, some parts are not vermeil.
