explanation
A lace blouse from the Edwardian era, early 1900s.
The soft and fluffy cotton fabric is also light and comfortable to wear.
There are buttons lined up neatly around the collar, and when they are all fastened it gives off a somewhat masculine look.
You can tie the ribbon at the waist to tighten the silhouette, or wear it as a casual jacket.
One of the charms of this item is its playfulness, as the look changes depending on how you fasten the buttons.
The lace used is torsion lace, which has a rustic look among bobbin lace.
The modest decorations, such as geometric patterns, are an exquisite accent without being too assertive.
The generously gathered ruffle design on the front creates an excellent balance, giving it a classic feel.
We also recommend folding the cuffs back to create a cuffed sleeve look.
It is in very good condition and is a rare antique piece that is becoming harder to come by every year.
